The hotel had a mix of positives and negatives. The rooms, although not airtight, were clean and warm, but the smell of stale cigarettes lingered due to smoking in and around the hotel. The location was convenient for travel but could disturb light sleepers with near-constant train noise. On the bright side, it was ideal for visiting family in Norbury. The self-help breakfast provided good choices, although dining options were limited. Close to Norbury's Railway Station, the hotel offered easy access to London Victoria.
